Davis is the kind of freshman whose first useful college minutes can come from possessions that do not require a play call. The listed 10.3 points and 5.5 rebounds do not describe a high-volume prep scorer, but the awards and staff evaluation point to a player who impacted games with physical activity. At 6-foot-1, she has enough size to defend forwards and enough athleticism to be tested against bigger wings. Her immediate offensive value should come from rim runs, offensive rebounds, baseline cuts and sprinting into early seals as opposed to trying to create off multiple dribbles. The biggest unknown is shooting range: the available game does not establish her as a college spacer, so that should remain outlook instead of assumption. Defensively, her motor gives her a chance to earn trust if she rebounds outside her area and can switch without losing discipline. With James and Roland occupying major frontcourt minutes, Davis can develop in a lower-usage role. If her handle and shot expand, she has the physical game to grow into a two-way forward instead of a specialist.
