Cam Santee is making himself heard before the ball is snapped. Paul Guenther has praised the linebacker’s communication in spring practice, and Michael Matsumoto sees the Holy Cross transfer bringing energy to a UNLV defense that needs both clearer calls and better finishing.
In the April 18 Rebel Daily Drive, Matsumoto and I discuss Dan Mullen’s practices and scrimmages, with the competition between Jackson Arnold and Alex Orji still open. We also work through the added size on both lines and the running backs behind Jai’Den “Jet” Thomas.
We also discuss Tre Fulton’s work in the secondary and how the defense is communicating under Guenther and Mike Scherer.
