Former Coronado guard Sebastian Mack is coming back to the Las Vegas area after UCLA and Missouri. I like the fit as an experienced scorer for Josh Pastner’s 2026-27 roster; the homecoming only carries it so far. Today’s Rebel Daily Drive looks at what Mack adds and the work UNLV still needs to do to return to NCAA Tournament contention.
I also discuss the Pac-12 settlement fallout and UNLV’s decision to stay in the Mountain West. The league’s departures should leave football and men’s basketball expecting regular title races, with NCAA Tournament contention part of the basketball standard.
