UNLV promoted Hayden Sheridan from director of strategy and analytics to assistant coach Friday ahead of the 2026-27 season.
Sheridan joined Josh Pastner’s first UNLV staff in April 2025. Last season, his work included opponent scouting, video breakdown, game preparation and analytics.
Before UNLV, Sheridan spent nine years at Georgia Tech, beginning as a graduate assistant and later serving seven seasons as director of scouting and video coordinator.
He helped coordinate opponent scouting reports, recruiting evaluations, video operations and technology, and oversaw the Yellow Jackets’ student managers. Most of his Georgia Tech tenure overlapped with Pastner’s.
Sheridan joins a coaching staff that includes associate head coach Scott Garson and assistants Anthony Wilkins and Justin Hawkins. The promotion continues a working relationship with Pastner that spans two schools.
UNLV finished 18-17 overall and 11-9 in conference play before reaching the second round of the NIT and losing at Tulsa.
